Hes a german mystic from the 1500's-1600's who believed the universe is a self generating fractal created by God so that he (God) could obtain self knowledge.

Pretty interesting stuff.

In other news my neighbors left a bottle of rolling rock (that has now been busted) on the sidewalk and I am going to clean that up.
