Godwin's Law (also known as Godwin's Rule of Nazi Analogies) is a mainstay of Internet culture, an adage formulated by Mike Godwin in 1990. The law states:

As an online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches one.[1]

I dont know how much of a mainstay it is. Have you guys heard of that?

i overheard her talking to someone about how she borrowed it from them and i asked her if i could borrow it and she warned me that it has some harsh stuff in it and i still insisted.

God, what a self centered bitch.

I wonder if she posts under the picture she has on her blog where she heard of the book.(Oh I bet the author sent her a signed copy because they travel in the same writers circles)

She feels compelled to point out that anyone who ever went to her site should have committed her reading list to memory and then credited her to be the fountain from which all knowledge and power flow. Its like she thinks she is a celtic scribe from the middle ages and without her you never couldve possibly borrowed a copy from your art teacher.

I will remember next time I am talking about self absorbed canadian bloggers to credit her.

Because I really can say I saw it their first.

And I know everytime anyone talks about books or movies or songs that they credit the person who introduced them to it. Dont they? Oh yeah Im sure all the best critics in the world do.

however my belief is that raymi would say that to any friend if she really knew that she was how they'd heard of an author or whatever.
