I finished the book. I would tell you all what it was about however I think that would ruin it.

It was published in 1965 but written before 1940.

Basically its like the 6th sense meets jacobs ladder. Which is pretty amazing for the period it was written in.

I recommend it. Especially if you like weirdo metaphysical type stuff.

I read it in about 8 hours.
