Melissa's Surgery went fine. Her anus was positioned perfectly. They still had to take a tissue sample for biopsy though. In effect they had to turn her butt inside out to do that, and get a piece from the inside.

But I am glad nothing more severe than that had to go on. She is gonna be sore for a few days and we get the results from the biopsy on thurs. The doctor said he expected everything to come back normal though, so she is probably just chronically constipated.

It was all still very stressful on the GF and I though. Mostly because of the anesthetic, GF had known a girl when she was 13 who went under and came back all retarded. And then there's the people who never wake up all. Thank God none of that was the case with Melissa she came out fine. And was just a little crabby and sleepy yesterday because they had given her morphine. What's up with giving a 7 year old morphine? That's screwed up.
