Scene 1 Act 1

Scene opens to a sleeping family. Robert Schultz and his family are at his in laws house.

Suddenly the slumber is broken by the screaming and crying of an 11 year old boy, its about 4 AM.

Robert: What the hell?
Jenifer: I dunno. Its Johnny-JOHNNY! COME HERE!
Johnny: -Sniff-whimper-sniff Yeah?
Jenifer: What are you crying about?
Johnny: The cat keeps meowing.
Robert: WHAT?!!?!
Johnny: The cat keeps meowing.
Jenifer: ooooo honey its ok...
Robert: Dont tell him its ok. Grrr. Put the stinking cat outside! Its not hard!
Jenifer: Now now Robert hes just a kid.
Robert: yeah and the object is to turn him into a man. Not have him crying for momma because "the cat is meowing", Jesus, Jenifer hes 11 years old. I think he could handle it some other way than crying. Johnny GO PUT THE CAT OUT AND GET BACK TO BED.
Robert for the next 3 hours trying to go back to sleep: GRRR, SIGH, GRRR, SIGH, SIGH, GRRR.
