OMG if you can, avoid 5th grade talent shows no matter what you do.

I love my kid and I want to see her perform and all but 90 minutes of dance numbers, pogo sticks, juggling, singing, piano and violin performed by 70 10 year old kids is not so fun.

In fact its an inane waste of time.

What a mess. 9 million cds, 2048 pencils/pens/highlighters, a usb microscope,a usb webcam that is 15 years old, floppy drive, hard drive, 19 forms of identification, Tax papers, kids' drawings, masking tape, paper robot, speakers, an ill fated ant farm, where the hell did these pokemon cards come from?! Paper journal, every gift card I received for the past 3 years,-hey-I found a 4 dollar gift cert from McDonald's that I got from my x-boss like 2 x-mas's ago. 66 block cable, Watches, garbage, some tums, lamp oil?! usb hub...

Quite a few dust bunnies too.

I was thinking about asking some questions of my kids AP biology teacher. Specifically why they teach evolution as proven fact when it is really an untested hypothesis.

in order for a hypothesis to be promoted to a theory it must be tested...Can someone, anyone, please tell me how one would test such a hypothesis? (really, someone show me spontaniously generating cells in a test tube in some laboratory somewhere under the "right" conditions)

If we can accept the oakie skokie university as being a respectable scientific outfit then we have to wonder again why we are so quick to accept this "Theory" as being true and absolute fact.

Why?

Because it answers fundamental questions that are very important to us.

Where we came from? An accident and alot of time. Why are we here? To evolve and spread our genes around.

But theres so much it DOESNT answer.

Where does the first life come from? And how? They cant just create life in a lab. And dont gimme that amino acid bs because amino acids have a long way to go to become life.

And wouldnt you need 2 mutants at the same time to breed with each other? Species cannot interbreed successfully with other species. So how could one ever spring up in the midst of another bunch of animals?

Now Im not a religeous fundamentalist. I dont think the Earth was created in 6 days, 10000 years ago. I dont really believe the entire earth was flooded. I would like to have some scientific fact to put my faith in.

Unfortunately the hypothesis of evolution just doesnt do it for me.

In other news the LOST season end is tonight. I cant wait to see how they plan on keeping me hanging for 6 months.

Well, to be honest, that job doesnt really pay enough to make the drive worth it. Its about 30 miles one way. So I think I will be telling them no.

However I am formulating a new plan to market my computer business more aggressively.

In other news my dryer broke down (appears the belt has broken) so I will be climbing in there today to investigate and fix the damned thing.

Well, Ive been too lazy to complete the video yet.

BUT I am working on it.

In other news I need to fix a computer today.

I want to tell Moody that everything is going to be alright and he is a smart, strong person who can easily withstand this most recent personal challenge he finds upon himself.

Things will be ok.

I had a nice cinco de mayo video planned.

However I notice this morning my cameras batteries are dead.

So that will be upcoming this week.

Melissa: Well I gave all my REAL clothes to Alexa and Jade. All I have now are these hand me downs.
Me: But wouldnt your old clothes be older hand me downs? You should tell Kathryn she should not judge people, she should look in Matt 7. And also rich people are less likely to get into heaven, check Luke 18 and Mark 10. Jesus does not want people to be snobbish and judgemental and greedy. Maybe you can illuminate her of her spiritual transgressions against our Lord and Savior? If things were the way God had intended there would be no rich or poor. Everything would be distributed equally and there would be enough for everyone. BUT since we are imperfect and greedy we have everything messed up. And we should all be ashamed of it. We can strive to be better than that cant we?
