I started doing this thing last Thursday:

Basically they send you spam that you get like 2 cents to click.

You can also fill out surveys for 50 Cents to 2 Dollars (1 or 2 a day). So far I have spent maybe 2 hours doing it. And have made about 12 dollars. Its actually funner than playing a video game. Cause at the end of a 20 minute session. I feel better about making $1.07 than getting a high score. (I have been jokingly saying to my wife I can use this money for my Internet porn addiction or subscriptions to MMOs) There's also some pyramidal effect if you get people to join and list as a referrer but I ain't worried about none of that.

HOWEVER Guitar Hero 3 came out on Sunday so I have been trying to get my hands on the converted songs for frets on fire. And have as of yet came up empty handed.

I appear to be in an exceptionally good mood today. I got a call back from a job and the guy doing the hiring is out of town on business and they said that my skill set looked like what he wanted and that he would most likely call me for an interview on the 31st and they didnt want me to get discouraged and apply somewhere else if I hadnt heard from him until then.

Score.

The stupid radio made me cry this morning.

You know the wild fires in California. Im sure youve heard about it.

Well this mom was talking about how she watched her house burn, on tv, from the football stadium or where ever they have those people housed.

Well, apparently she has a 4 year old daughter who also saw her house burn.

She was really bummed out and cried because her bike got ruined, and the mom said it was purple and pink and sparkling and everything a little girl could want in a bike.

For me, Niagara Falls. even right now just writing about it.

STUPID SENTIMENTAL PITY FOR LITTLE GIRLS WITH BURNED DOWN BIKES AND HOUSES! -SOB-

Well, Ive been running around today applying for jobs that really arent up my alley but that will pay until some nice computer gig comes along. It sucks living in the middle of nowhere sometimes. I have applied for something like 20 jobs now. It sure would be nice if someone would call and schedule me for an interview.

In other news, Ive been playing BIOSHOCK, and I must say its an awesome game. So far the story line is really A+, really fires the imagination and the graphics are insanely good.

I hope everyone had a nice weekend. I made Chili last night. It was yummy but now I think Im going to float away.

I also put plastic up and winterized at least part of the house. I think I should finnish that today.

I need to goto the social security office and get myself ordered up a new card. I lost the old one. (I would lose my head if it wasnt attached)

Also, Tonight Im making sloppy joes. Those should be good.

I have to go shopping. I think I will make steak sandwhiches, potatos, and wax beans for dinner. The kids have never had wax beans so that should be funny. So far they say they look disgusting. Mwa ha ha ha!

And do laundry.

And drink less pop.

And so Im off to do these things.

I need to put up a web page for someone today.

More handymen.

I fixed my windows ce device. Put some games on it. Snake, Tetris, that artillary game with the high angle trajectory,Nethack, breakout, mahjong, same and some other junk. So that was fun.

There are 3 handymen at my door this morning. My landlord wants stuff fixed now that he is selling the place.

What an adventure.

They went to the hardware store to get some stuff my house needs desperately and said they would be back in hour.

I wish I had known they were coming. Id have cleaned up a bit. But the house is not in too bad of shape from last week when I cleaned it.

In other news I was thinking about this bible verse, Matt 6:24

No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

And after thinking about that a bit Ive come to the conclusion that I dont need a job. I need to start a cult.

I think a job has really gotten in the way of my spiritual enlightenment all of these years and I think maybe with people tithing in and such Id have alot more time to devote to my relationship with the divine. Also I could share the depth less questions I get answers to with my congregation. So its not like they wouldnt get anything out of the deal...

...or hopefully some of the places I applied at will call me back.

But this was a pleasent diversion.

Well, Today I am going to apply for that "Secret" Job. And stopping by the temp agency on my way back.

I dont have alot of time.

Today I think I will buy a new vacuum for my 50 gallon tank.

And Im cleaning my house. AGAIN. Now its the after party cleanup. Meh.


I started thinking my moms birthday was the 12th and not the tenth because it was on columbus day before they moved it 2 times ago. And I believe it was the anniversary of the original discovery date, which is 10-12-1492.

Anyway.

I am alittle depressed that there are no more Doctor Whos until Jan. or Feb. Or sometime like that. Woe is me.

Ive been cleaning my house again, its Stephen (16!)'s birthday! Hooray!

So yeah I am having a bunch of people over for that.

Also, Im pretty sure its my mothers birthday too, so Im going to call her after all my company goes home.

Also I made a sandbar in my fishtank (One corner with a plastic divider and a bunch of sand). My weather loach loves it. Hes so funny he burries himself in there and all I can see sometimes is his head poking out. And I put sand on the crabs floatie thing and cut a plastic cup in half so he could have an out of the water hidey hole.

:^) He likes it too. Been up in there all day.

I bought a ton of ice cream last night.

I get fatter just looking at it.

I was having some CRAZY dreams last night. CRAZY. Id tell you all about it except then
id sound really crazy.

I met some people there, they were nice.

The mad rush for me to get a job is now really on. Im applying for a new job everyday until I get one.

Hopefully.

Im kinda starting to get worried, like maybe I really am not that likable and no one will ever hire me! Nah.

Someone will if I apply at enough places.

Still waiting to hear back from dish network (rhymes with fish network) and the library (They had a part time teching job open)

But this morning Im applying for even more stuff.

Well, I got a rejection letter from that one place I had the interview at, thats ok...Their loss.

Plus I applied for a different one.

And Ill apply for another one today, the none too glamorous job of sattelite installation.

So hopefully, between the one teching job and this dish network junk Ill land something.

Crab photo is still winning tho, so thats some small joy for me.

I gotta go finish cleaning m'house! Vacuuming the boys' rooms, clean the bathroom and spiff up the porch alittle bit.

I think murdering my landlords might be less work. But I dont have a giant plastic tarp to put down in the livingroom to catch their blood as I stab them so I guess cleaning will have to do.

Last night my leg felt like it was on fire for no reason. It made me alittle afraid of spontaneous human combustion. Also I looked and there are 16 return visitors and 3 comments! Please quit lurking. With sugar on top. :^) thanks.

A bunch of my snails (specifically all the ones in the guppy tank) like went into their shells yesterday after I did my daily water change on the guppies. Its pretty strange, when I take snails out of there they "wake up" and start crawling around a snail jar I have. If I take snails from the jar and put them in the guppy tank they continue to be active. I dont get it.

Currently all snails I can get out of the guppy tank are gotten. And like 99 percent of those are crawling around. Imagine the opposite condition for the ones remaining in the guppy tank. The fish in there seem fine tho.

I have to go clean my house now. Have a great day! Also I wish kathryn would tell me more specifically whats wrong with her fish tank.

Well, I havent heard fromthe job place yet. :^( Hopefully I do today. I need some work.

I have a computer call scheduled for 5:30 today. I gotta call some other folks too.

I made a bear amulet yesterday for my kids science class, (she was supposed to make a prehistoric art/tool/shelter) that was a pain. Yeah. I hope I get an A on it.
