I opened the door to John's(14) room today to wake him up for school and I was hit right in the face with his bare ass pointed at me. EEK!

Was all I said, and retreated to feed my fish.

I am working on a PC this morning.

BUT, it has nothing wrong with it. No spyware, virus scanning seems to be working, everything looks good.

So why did the chick want me to "fix" it?

Well they use dialup and they couldnt update their virus definitions (because its too slow) I downloaded a 20 mb file in about 1 minute, but you cant very well do that on a 28,800 connection. Also I think windows updates were always trying to download themselves on top of whatever else they were doing over the modem.

It must have been so slow they were willing to kill themselves.


So Im updating everything and gonna scan everything, then its disk maintenence and then Ill take it back and demand some money.

But man that was easy, TY windows update for making me some money.

I have such a hard time getting out of bed if I wake up with the kids and get them off to school. I mean the first time, Im up, Im yelling at the kids to wake up, telling them I love them and pushing them out the door.

Then I go back to bed for what should be 45 minutes and it turns into 2 hours!

I gotta go pick up a computer Im fixing today, do fish water changes on both tanks because I was gone for the weekend, and I already harrassed a couple of employers this morning.

Im a busy guy, I got no time to sleep until 10.

My Zen Stone is charging for the weekend. So far the little guy has held up pretty well. Im not a big fan of solid state ram drives because they go bad after so many writes and usually are way too expensive and come with crappy software (Read here IPOD). But this zen stone for 20 bucks is a deal and the software only has 1 button, "Rip CD" and a battery readout.

I like it.

But yeah Im getting ready to goto my mother in laws for the weekend. Don't worry mom Ill call you. I think I might even get a birthday present out of going. I hope they dont get me blank cd's.

I never went to the liscense bureau yesterday, so Im going to have to go today. Also I need to drop melissa off at her friends house to spend the night for a birthday party.

Fried Walleye and Sauce

4 smaller Walleye Fillets
Seasoned Flour (WTF is this? I just put some onion, garlic powder alittle mortons and some cayenne in the flour)
kosher salt (oy vey! I used normal salt. Opposed to salt blessed and sold by rabbis)
fresh ground black pepper (Or not fresh ground black pepper)
1/2 cup Chardonnay wine (Not on hand sorry, Skipped this)
1/2 cup chicken stock
1/4 cup chopped parsley
2 tbsp chopped garlic
1 large sliced onion (slice long way)
1/4 cup diced tomato (seeds and skin removed)
1/4 cup Olive Oil
1/2 lemon juice
1 tsp capers (Yeah I dont keep this on hand either, How about alittle cilantro and 2 tbsp jalapenos/salsa instead?)
cover fillets in seasoned flour and fry until brown in Olive oil. take fillets out of pan and set aside....saute the garlic and onions and tomato in the pan drippings until tender.....add flour to make a roux....add wine and stock....lemon juice, capers and reduce to 1/2......add the walleye fillets and parsley....cover for 10 minutes to warm the fish. Serve over rice(I did rice) or pasta.

Melissas fishtank is overrun with nematodes. Appearently its from her massively overfeeding it. Maybe Ill post a picture later.

Melissa(11) recently has gotten a fiddler crab. In a 10 gallon tank. I went in there at about 1 AM last night to take a peak at him while she was sleeping and I couldnt find him in there. And theres not alot to hide under/behind. I stared at that tank for 15 or 30 minutes and there was no crab anywhere.

then this morning hes back?!

Is it possible he is leaving his tank at night? Beats me. Its sure weird tho.
