This is the last day.

The last day I have to put up with my GF/STBW compulsive overplanning that is.

For the past 6 months I have stomached the "cake toppers/matching fabrics/food plans/location plans/guest lists/footware/floral arrangements/justice of the peace/gifts/ETC ETC"

I swear for 6 months its all Ive heard. I am very pleased that tommorow the objective will be achieved.

Then I can start telling her to shut up and quit overplanning buying a house.

Soon to be wife:What kind of toothpaste have you been usin'?
Me:The strawberry shortcake stuff in the medicine cabinette.
STBW:You should use that stuff I have put away in the top of the cupboard across from the toilet
Me:I have been using the "Aim" actually, thats what my mom used to buy when we were kids.(and how would I know about your secret hidden toothpaste anyway!)
STBW:The stuff im talking about would make your teeth whiter...
Me:I havent even brushed my teeth today, I usually do that right after my shower and since I took the day off the whole schedule is broke down. I dont want to use your sandblaster toothpaste anyway. ALSO I really think Im capable of picking my own toothpaste from the many choices you have provided in the bathroom.

STRESS!

Ive been nursing a toothache for about a week.

My standard policy is to work through the pain.

However I tried that friday and wanted to kill multiple people.

So I took the day off.

I also took some pain pills.

ZZZZZZZ

Tonight is my bachelor party. Dont worry, no strippers, no stag flicks, no cocaine.

Just a big bunch of LAN gaming. I know Im a geek. But it wasnt even my idea. Nope. I had nothing to do with it.

Additionally the GF's bridal shower and bachelorette party are this evening as well. She is going to the bar with her friends to do goodness knows what.

In other news I had way way way too many habeneros last night in my taco and spanish rice. Im working on a four alarm bowel movement.

So there I was, sitting at work, diligently fixing all manner of computer problems when Im paged overhead...

I call, the receptionist says "I have your soon to be mother in law on the phone."

"Ok" I say, "Put her through."

Well here's where things get crazy. She is in tears-balling her head off. In between the sobbing and the moaning I can make that shes at my front door (which is locked 'cause everyones at work/school.)

She then explains to me how she was on her way to work and...Next thing you know...She's at my front door. She works in the city of New Ulm about 3.5 hours south of me. So my responce was "HUH?!"

But yeah, she doesnt remember any of the trip. She was crying for about an hour after that, I kept telling her she was ok. But I think she was really frightened and confused. I offered what comfort I could with a hug and telling her I understood why she would be upset.

My GF took her to the emergency room. They couldnt find evidence of any brain tumors or strokes. So they labeled it "transient amnesia" which after doing alittle reading I found out effects .005% of the population.

What fun.

I'm stressed out.

I dont like being stressed out.

The more stressed out I become the more my face breaks out into pimples. Then already being stressed out I stress out about my complexion. Then...I start picking at my face! ARG! Its frustrating. I cant stop though...It starts feeling as if my zits are starting to flake away into flakey dead-skin-ness, and that flakeyness must be removed. MUST BE.

Pick Pick Pick.

Hopefully after the wedding everything will return to normal.

Last night at the dinner table the subject came up from the kids that we should shop for a religion.

I dont think it went over to big when I said we should pick one of the ones where the women are subservient.

But it sure as hell was funny. (My defense was, "Thats, like, all of them!")

I have been sleeping way too much lately. Sometimes 10 hours a night. I used to sleep 5 hours a night.

Maybe after all those years of not sleeping its time to catch up? All I know is I dont like it.

You would think that since the Christians inherited the Jewish God that the beliefs should be synonymous. Yet they completely aren't...

Today is my friend Floyd's last day here. Hes the guy leaving the job I turned down.

We wish him luck in his adventures at the staples community college.

Well I told them no on the Network Analyst position. I didnt want to but they made me-Werent willing to pay me enough.

The raise I woulda' got would have brought me to 600 bucks more PER YEAR than what I make currently with overtime.

Simply put, not worth it. If they want me to give up some of the things I like, dealing with users, having no project deadlines (other than those required by the end users), and keeping my boss who has never ever given me any problems (the new manager chick woulda been cool too Im sure. But prolly not AS cool).

So yeah...thats disapointing.

This weekend my good friend(and no relation) Dave Schultz went to Minneapolis/St. Paul.

As was agreed upon before he left, he picked up some White Castle. Now we have a "Crave Case" in the fridge and Ive been eating cheeseburgers for the past 2 days.

Even when you Microwave them 3 days after they were "fresh"(White Castle just microwaves them too) they are exquisitly good.
